What the arrangement means in practice

- You pay nothing out of pocket while the case is active.
- Our fee is a percentage of the recovery — agreed in writing before we begin, in plain terms.
- If there is no recovery, you do not owe us a fee.
Our interests are aligned with yours by design: the firm recovers when you do.
Why alignment changes behavior
A contingency firm cannot afford to take your case lightly. We are thorough in our preparation, making sure that we are ready for whatever twists and turns may happen in your case — because we have staked our own work on the outcome. It is also why we are honest at the door: if we feel that you would best be served by handling your case without an attorney, we will be honest with you and tell you what you can do to protect your interests.
It is also why medical care comes first. When we see that additional treatment is required, we will make appointments with doctors and specialists to determine the appropriate plan for you — at no charge to you, as we are paid when we recover compensation on your behalf.
What to bring to a free consultation
- Any photographs you took — of vehicles, the scene, the hazard, or your injuries
- The traffic collision report or incident report number, if one exists
- Names and contact information for witnesses
- Medical records or discharge paperwork you have received so far
- Any letters or voicemails from an insurance company — and anything you have not yet answered
Do not worry if you have none of these. We will tell you what to request and how to preserve what still exists. If you have been injured due to another's negligent acts, you do not have to go through this struggle on your own — and you do not need money in hand to get an answer about your case.
